Microgrant Update: Tokushima AJET Musical
Parker Douglas Fairchild, a Tokushima ALT, was awarded a microgrant through USJETAA’s Microgrants for Current US JETs in partnership with the US Embassy Tokyo.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Parker was awarded the microgrant along with a team of co-recipients for their project, the Tokushima AJET Musical.
Cycling the Shimanami Kaido
"Japan’s 70 km (43 mi) world-famous, island-hopping bike route is a cyclist’s best dream and worst nightmare."
The Shimanami Kaido connects a series of islands in the Seto Inland Sea and spans two prefectures (Ehime and Hiroshima). Learn more about this bucket-list worthy adventure and JET alum Chloe Holm's (Ehime, 2022-2023) experience cycling this stunning route.
