Microgrants for Current US JETs
Do you have an innovative project or event idea that you’d like funding to support?
If you’ve been mulling over how to make an impact in your JET community, this is your chance!
This microgrant program provides small grants (typically $200-$1,000) to current US JETs to fund projects in their local Japanese communities which introduce American culture and/or English language to students or community members. As you create and plan your project, reach out to your supervisors and/or JTEs and other community members who you anticipate working with to ensure your project will be well received and supported. Please click the “learn more” button below for application details.
Microgrants are administered via USJETAA and funding is generously provided by the U.S. Embassy Tokyo. You must be a US citizen who is currently participating in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) to apply.
Microgrants are made possible through joint partnership between USJETAA and U.S. Embassy Tokyo.
