Japanese Reading Group
The goal of the USJETAA Japanese Reading Group is to help beginner, intermediate and advanced-level learners improve their reading skills.
This group typically meets virtually on a specific Friday (US time zones)/Saturday (Japan time) each month.
Click here to request access to the recording of last month’s session.
Each month a short reading from Aozora Bunko, a repository of public domain literature, is selected.
Participants should attempt to do the reading on their own and come to the meeting with any questions. The group reads the assignment sentence by sentence to understand how the Japanese is working.
Registration is free, but donations are always appreciated.
You can also join the USJETAA Japanese Reading Group private Facebook group where links to the reading, access to a recording of the previous month’s session, and other details are posted each month.
