This month, Japan Society of Boston got to know Sean Bramble, an Assistant English Teacher (yes, before the title morphed into Assistant Language Teacher) on the JET Program in Nagasaki Prefecture from 1992 to 1995.⁠

⁠After his time on JET, Sean worked for the Kyushu National Museum, did voiceovers for radio, and even modeled for department stores.⁠ Upon returning to the US, Sean has continued his connections with Japan as a high school AP world history teacher an author of Japan travel guide: Culture Shock! Japan: A Survival Guide to Customs and Etiquette (Culture Shock! Guides).
