USJETAA Japanese Reading Group: April 2024
In April, we will read the short piece 蜻蛉日誌 (Dragonfly Journal) by Toh EnJoe, a contemporary writer of literary and speculative fiction who has recently uploaded his works into the Aozora Bunko public domain. This piece is from an online event EnJoe held with two other writers titled "Reading and Writing the Kamogawa River." Click here for the link to this month's reading.

About the USJETAA Japanese Reading Group
The goal of the USJETAA Japanese Reading Group is to help advanced, beginner and intermediate level learners improve their reading skills. Each month we discuss a short reading from Aozora Bunko, a repository of public domain literature. Participants should attempt to do the reading on their own and bring questions to the group.
We gather online and read the assignment sentence by sentence to understand how the Japanese is working. Registration is free, but we always appreciate donations to support these types of programs.
