This is a casual drop-in type hang out where you can say hi, stick around for some lunchtime conversation, or just tune in to some ambient social interaction we've all been missing away from the office. Meeting location: Zoom (link to be sent on day of the event)Cost: FreeDetails: Summer is coming to a close but that doesn’t mean you have to put away the grill just yet! On Thursday, 9/10 from 6:30-7:30 PM CST, join members of JETAA Chicago and the Young Professionals Committee (YPC) of the Japan America Society of Chicago for a “last roast” to summer. Jerry Lai, host of the YouTube Channel Chicago Griller, will teach attendees how to make tsukune (chicken skewers) and yaki onigiri (grilled rice balls). No grill? No problem! You can also make these dishes on a skillet. This event is free and open to all JET Alumni, Friends of JET, and members of the YPC Japan America Society of Chicago.
