This program awards “microgrants” (grants of small amounts of funding) to U.S. citizens who are participating in the Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Program. Grants ranging from $200 to $1,000 are given to JETs to fund activities and projects that promote English language education, encourage future travel and study in the United States, and introduce American culture to communities and schools.
