Jessica Kennett Cork is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications at YKK Corporation of America. Her primary responsibilities include managing public relations and corporate communications for YKK Corporation’s North and Central America Group; serving as the regional liaison with YKK corporate headquarters in Japan for global PR and communications; planning corporate events; managing the region’s corporate donations and community outreach programs; and leading the Group’s Core Values initiative. Prior to joining YKK, she worked as the Adviser for Educational and Cultural Affairs at the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta and spent 3 years as a Coordinator for International Relations in Hiroshima, Japan. Cork currently serves on the boards of The Japan-America Society of Georgia, the Macon-Bibb County Global Affairs Coalition, and the International Charter Academy of Georgia, and is on the Communication Committee of The Georgia Council on Economic Education.
Mark Frey is a recognized leader in JETAA and the field of Marketing. He is a Marketing & Sales Manager at PwC and formerly served as JETAA USA Country Representative and President of JETAA Northern California (JETAANC). Mark served on the Working Committee of the JETAA USA Building Capacity Initiative that laid the groundwork for USJETAA. He is a proud “Monbassador” cultural ambassador for Japan’s Kumamoto Prefecture, where he served as an Assistant Language Teacher on the JET Program. Mark serves on the Board of Directors of the Oakland-Fukuoka Sister City Association and the University of Chicago Alumni Association Bay Area Club.
