Anniversary Message & Request for Videos

May 13, 2020 is the fifth anniversary of USJETAA’s incorporation as a nonprofit organization. What an incredible accomplishment! It took the efforts of so many people working together to get us to this point. USJETAA went from an idea to a reality five years ago…but hitting this major milestone shows that we are here to stay!

Input from the chapters and chapter leaders was vital to shaping the purpose of USJETAA. As we continue to grow, your input remains important to us. We want to hear about the needs of your chapters and how we can continue to help.

Though now feels like a strange time to celebrate with the health pandemic touching us all, we are truly grateful to have made it this far and done this much. The people, program partners, and grantors who believed in our vision truly made this possible. We cannot thank you all enough for your support over the years. We can’t gather during this time, but we hope you will join us on May 20th for our virtual celebration.

We are also inviting you to record a ten second video message of congratulations. This video will be combined with other messages into a short video. You can use your cell phone to record it. Please hold your phone sideways to record the video in horizontal mode and then email the video to me.

Sample video messages (this is just to give you an idea to work from):

• Example 1: Hello from Tokyo!  You’ve accomplished so much in 5 years. Congratulations!
• Example 2: Happy 5th anniversary! Thank you for visiting JETAA Pacific Northwest last fall. We loved working with you.
