USJETAA offers a hands-on leadership program to assist JETAA Chapters in their program management, governance, programming or other areas they feel additional support and feedback would be useful.
The program consists of a site-visit with the chapter leadership and members (if appropriate) and the USJETAA Executive Director or other professionals, to discuss and identify areas where the chapter would benefit from outside input and ideas. This is an opportunity to focus on a strategic plan, come up with new program ideas for alumni, or reestablish connections with regional subchapters. The program is tailored to the needs of the specific chapter.
Each year there is a maximum of three participant chapters for the Leadership Program. If your Chapter or Sub-Chapter is interested, please fill out the form below. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis through October. Generally, site-visits will take place in the last or first fiscal quarters of the year, but earlier visits are also possible.
Funding for the Leadership Program is generously provided by The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership (CGP) and CLAIR.
