USJETAA seeks a well-organized individual with exceptional communication skills to serve as their next Program and Communications Coordinator. This position will engage with our 19 affiliated chapters as well as individual JET alumni around the nation, to offer and execute events and opportunities, thereby strengthening the JET alumni network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for 1) assisting the Executive Director in exploring ways that USJETAA can practically support local chapters to help them become more sustainable and dynamic within their regional communities; 2) help create career development pathways and entry points for JET alumni where they can utilize their Japan experience and knowledge to contribute to US-Japan ties; and 3) supporting efforts to create opportunities for the broader JET alumni community, whose professions do not directly involve them in bilateral relations, to renew or continue their involvement in and education on US-Japan issues.
