Building community one JET at a time.

In September, JETAA Rocky Mountain hosted the JETAA National Conference in Denver, Colorado. This annual event brings together 1 or 2 representatives from the 19 U.S. JETAA chapters to discuss chapter business, share strategies, and learn about opportunities to support their chapters. For the first time, USJETAA was a co-sponsor for the conference and we were very happy to contribute to such a great event.

This year there were about 70 delegates, guest speakers, and volunteers. The conference theme this year was the value of JETAA to the community. Thanks to the presenters and participants, delegates exchanged ideas on various topics, including grassroots exchange, KenJETKai, USJETAA grant opportunities, and strengthening leadership, communication and finances within our chapters.

The conference was co-sponsored by USJETAA, JETAA USA, CLAIR, MOFA, and the Denver Consulate General of Japan.
