The application for the Mike Mansfield Fellowship Program is now open at: https://mansfield.embark.com/apply/2019.  The Foundation is recruiting the twenty-fourth group of Mansfield Fellows. (The ten Fellows in the twenty-second group are pictured above.)  A total of 159 U.S. federal government officials have been awarded Mansfield Fellowships since the program was established by Congress in 1994.  The Fellowship Program provides up to ten federal employees with one year of professional development in Japan.  Prospective candidates are encouraged to attend information sessions to learn more about the program.  The first information session will be July 18.  Applications for the 2019-2020 program are due October 31, 2018.  More information about the application and selection process is available at http://mansfieldfellows.org.  The Mike Mansfield Fellowship Program is administered by the Mansfield Foundation with funding from the U.S. Department of State.
