Registration is open for the 2019 Annual Spring Conference of the American Association of Teachers of Japanese (AATJ), which will be held in Denver, Colorado, on Thursday, March 21.

Paper and panel presentations will take place on the Plaza Concourse Level of the Sheraton Denver Hotel from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A keynote session on diversity and inclusion in Japanese language education will follow at 4:40 p.m.

The AATJ Annual Spring Conference will feature almost 100 presentations on various aspects of Japanese language, literature, and culture. The conference program is posted online and can be downloaded at http://www.aatj.org/conferences-spring.

Online registration for the conference will be open until March 8. Registration fees are $60 for AATJ and AJLS members, $40 for student members, and $100 for non-members. After March 8, only on-site registration will be available, in Denver, at the rate of $100 (US$ cash or checks only). The AATJ Annual Spring Conference is held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Association for Asian Studies (AAS), which takes place at the Sheraton Denver from March 21-24.
