USA Pavilion Youth Ambassador Program: Dubai Expo 2020 – (Dubai, UAE)

Company: USA Pavilion, Expo Dubai 2020, Global Ties US
Title: U.S. Pavilion Youth Ambassador (Program)

Salary: $300/week + $1,500 Service Completion Bonus (Full-term cohort only)
Location: Dubai, UAE

In response to COVID-19, the event will now run from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. Additionally, Expo 2020 will retain its name. Though the dates and timeline may have changed, Global Ties U.S. continues to welcome the opportunity to recruit for Youth Ambassadors and Cultural Performers to serve at the U.S. Pavilion and engage visitors.

A two-day Youth Ambassador launch event will be held in Washington D.C. in September 2021. Though there will be days off and leave included, Youth Ambassadors will be expected to serve at the pavilion on some weekends and including New Year’s celebrations and religious holidays.

The selected Youth Ambassadors will be split into 3 cohorts:

Full-Term cohort: September 16, 2021 – April 2, 2022*
Fall 2021 cohort: September 16, 2021 – January 16, 2022*
Spring 2022 cohort: January 8, 2022 – April 2, 2022*
Note: *Starting and ending dates are subject to change.

 

In order to complete this application, you’ll be asked to provide:

contact information of 4 references (2 professional, 2 character)
a resume or CV
an unofficial transcript of your current or most recently completed degree
a “one-way interview” video submission of yourself (max. 15 minutes)
Only complete submissions will be accepted.

 

The application will remain open from July 20, 2020 – Feb 26, 2021. Applications for Youth Ambassador positions will be accepted until filled. Submissions will be reviewed and status updates may be sent periodically. After completion, each application will undergo a thorough review process that may include interviews and potentially additional submissions. Global Ties U.S. reserves the right to change the application timeline and availability of this portal at any time.
