TV Asahi DC bureau is looking for new colleague!

Position Summary: Expected duties as TV Producer include, but are not limited to the following:

・Perform and coordinate variety of producer functions as appropriate for seamless operations of the company as a member of a small team of producers and cameramen and correspondents.
・ Perform variety of TV program production including making necessary research, logistics, shooting, communicating/negotiating with both inside and outside of the company
・ Serve as back up of colleagues to ensure seamless operation of the Company
・ Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by Management.

Required Experience
・BA/BS Degree in social science such as journalism, communications, international relations, Asian studies or related field preferred.
・Extensive general knowledge (US Politics, current news event related to Japan, the US and Asia).
・Excellent researching skill and willingness for field work and business trips.
・Positive attitude toward working as a team.
