Organization: The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles
Position available: Full-time staff (Temp to hire)
Duration: Temp period from January 10 (negotiable)-March 31, 2022 (office closed for holidays on January 17 & February 21)
*After the temp period concludes, JFLA may offer the candidate a full-time position starting from April 1st, 2022.
Working hours: 9:30-17:30 from Monday to Friday (Includes a one-hour lunch break)
*During the pandemic, the candidate will be asked to work 50% remotely and 50% on site. (Subject to change)
Location: 5700 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90036
Duties will include:
・Coordination and promotion of Japanese language education programs
・English/Japanese translation and proofreading
Eligibility:
・University or higher level degree
・More than a few years’ work experience in a related field
・Able to perform duties at a high level both in English and Japanese
・Have an interest toward Japanese language education and Japanese culture
Salary: Based on experience and JFLA regulations
