STEAM Ahead Research Assistant – Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (Chicago, IL)
Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE) partners public school teachers with working artists to collaborate on inquiry-driven investigations of academic contents and contemporary arts practices. CAPE was recently awarded a multi-year Assistance for Arts Education Development and Dissemination (AAEDD) grant by the U.S. Department of Education for CAPE’s STEAM Ahead program.
The STEAM Ahead Research Assistant will work around 10 hours a week between January and June or one full school term. Research Assistants will be compensated $35/hour.
Research Assistants will work primarily in the Park Forest-Chicago Heights School District 163 schools. Reliable access to transportation to reach this area is required.
