Sales Engineer – VANTECH, Co., Ltd. (Sano, Tochigi, JP)

Title: Sales Engineer
Salary: From ¥230,000 or negotiable based on experience, Full-time
Location: Sano, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan

Vantech, a metal filter manufacturing company in Sano, Tochigi is currently hiring for a position as a Sales Engineer.

Vantech is a company specializing in the manufacturing and processing of metal filters, strainers, and electrical car components. We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team. With the company’s ambition to target foreign customers by exporting their products, this is a great opportunity for those who want to utilize their language skills and expand their network. Native English speakers and N2 level or better would be preferred.

Current employees include Japanese nationals and people from various foreign countries (China, U.S., Nepal, Vietnam, etc.) in different departments, making this company a diverse and exciting workplace. As Japanese is the main language spoken in the company it would be ideal to have a high-intermediate command of speaking, listening in Japanese.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitating effective business communications and mutual understanding with foreign companies.
Understanding the needs of AHR markets and providing effective solutions.
Developing new products to better suit the needs of companies and consumers.
Opportunity to attend exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe to display company’s products.

Requirements:
Native English speaker
N2 or equivalent
University graduate: Any major
Experience in sales or background in engineering is preferred but absolutely not required. You can learn along the way.

Compensation/Benefits:
From ¥230,000 or negotiable based on experience
Bonus: Twice a year (July, December)
Pension and social insurance coverage
Visa sponsorship
Transport allowance
Weekends, Golden Week, Obon Week, year-end holidays

Career Advancement:
Possibility of promotion to manager, depending on performance.
Opportunity to lead operations in the US in the event of company expansion.
