Join the top-ranked think tank of Brookings! We invite you to apply for a research position in the Global Economy and Development program (“Global”), which aims to shape the policy debate on how to improve global economic cooperation and fight global poverty and sources of social stress.
We are seeking research analysts with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to support scholars by providing research, writing, data and statistical analysis related to policies and trends affecting developing countries. Focus areas of research include global poverty, the global middle class, fragile states, globalization, inequality, foreign assistance and development effectiveness. This position is best suited for those who have received a master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Global Development, International Affairs, Public Policy or related field.
As an integral member of the research team, this research analyst performs analysis with limited supervision, delivers high quality output in a timely manner, participates in the development, dissemination and presentation of research findings; assists in the organization of meetings and events; and provides administrative assistance as needed.
Expected start date will be late June. These are two-year termed positions.
