I am writing to let you know that Baylor’s Department of Modern Languages and Cultures is seeking a dynamic colleague to appoint as Regular Lecturer and Director of the Interactive Media & Language Center (iMLC), beginning August 2019. The candidate should hold an M.A. or Ph.D. in linguistics or related field, have native or near-native proficiency in at least one of the eleven languages taught in the department of Modern Languages and Cultures, and demonstrate proven excellence and experience in undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to stay current with emerging instructional technologies especially in the field of language learning.
