Regional Recruitment Manager – Japan Kings Education (Washington, D.C.)

Role Description

As a result of exciting developments in both the USA and UK, the company is now looking to recruit an outstanding individual for the position of Regional Recruitment Manager for Japan. With a proven track record of success in the relevant fields, for a country of key future strategic importance to Kings, this position represents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join an innovative international education group and to further develop a career in an international marketing and recruitment context.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively initiate, develop and maintain relationships with agents and partners.
  • Achieve annual enrollment targets set during the budget process
  • Train agencies on a regular basis so that they gain a keen understanding of Kings programs/services
  • Directly impact Kings growth of Japanese student enrollments for Kings UK and US for EFL as well as University Prep programs
  • Attend student fairs, workshops and other venues as needed in your region
  • Initiate and implement market specific promotions
  • Research and report on market trends that have a direct impact on student enrollment
  • Act as the primary liaison between the schools and Japanese agents
  • Responsible for projecting sales and budgeting within the region of responsibility
  • Responsible for overall logistics and management of the regional marketing strategy, hosting overseas fairs and assist colleagues with collateral creation, market research, due intelligence and other related functions
  • Extensive local travel to visit agents and attend fairs/workshops
  • Ensure agents always receive first class levels of customer service

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Experience working with educational agencies and students
  • Understanding of the US and UK education systems
  • Dynamic individual who enjoys giving presentations to different types of audience
  • Pro-active with a proven track record of solving problems, meeting KPI’s
  • Demonstrable success in business development in international education
  • Driven, results-orientated and focused nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-service orientated approach
  • IT literate
  • Comfortable in dynamic environments
  • Comfortable working independently and from home
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness
