Outreach Coordinator – VISIONS Service Adventures (Bozeman, MT or Remote)

Company: VISIONS Service Adventures
Title: Outreach Coordinator
Salary: TBD, Full-time
Location: Bozeman, MT or Remote

VISIONS Service Adventures has a full-time Outreach Coordinator position available. VISIONS runs summer community service programs for teenagers and Gap programs for college-age students in the U.S. and abroad. VISIONS does serious and vital work. However, we are also a lighthearted and fun culture looking for someone who is a team player and solutions- orientated.

The successful candidate will eventually be the first point of contact with parents and students who are interested in VISIONS programs. This person is also the ongoing support with our families. They will come to know our families through conversations on the phone and email, and must have an in-depth understanding of VISIONS programs and policies.

Daily responsibilities will include answering student and parent questions, data entry, reviewing student applications, moving students through the admissions process, work with spreadsheets and google docs, doing mailings and other tasks. This person will play an instrumental role in being the anchor of VISIONS daily processes.

Skillsets and qualities should include:

  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and listening

  • Customer-centric with sense of urgency for deadlines and customer response time

  • Takes initiative for learning and problem-solving

  • Astute organizer and takes pride in getting the day’s tasks completed

  • Upbeat, positive, creative and intellectually curious

  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, software; overall computer-savvy

  • Strong work ethic and desire to go beyond the standard expectations

  • Desire to work on a small team and excitement to help us achieve our mission

  • Willingness to wear multiple hats when necessary — a go-getter!

  • Desire to put an emphasis on long-term value impact over short term gains

  • Familiarity with Salesforce database a bonus, but not required

Our home base is in Bozeman, Montana, however we will consider remote candidates. We are currently fully remote with flexible policies but sometimes long hours.

This will be a position that is up to 40 hours per week, however it is not a “punch-in / punch-out” job; flexible hours are allowed as long as the work gets done. We are looking for someone who is keen to make this work part of their life, and knowing that job duties will sometimes—though not often—require advance-scheduled weekend time or off-hours when programs are getting set up (and this time can be made up later). Benefits include three weeks paid vacation, health insurance and 401K. Application deadline is December 18.

No phone calls, please. Check the website for specific details about how to apply. Applications and questions may be sent to info@visions-service.com.
