International Outreach Officer (IOO) – Office for Astronomy Outreach (Tokyo, Japan)

The position is as the International Outreach Officer (IOO) for the Office for Astronomy Outreach. The office is a partnership between the International Astronomical Union (IAU), the largest international union of astronomers, and the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, the Japanese government agency for ground-based astronomy research. The office aims to make it easier for the public to access information about our Universe and local and global astronomy events while building networks to support and disseminate information to amateur astronomy and public outreach communities. The position is located in Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan. We’ll begin reviewing applications on 15 July 2021.
