Position:  Japanese Teacher
Location: Sexton High School
Starting Date:  2020-21 SY
Work Days per Week:  5 days
Hours per Day: 7 hours (minimum 35 hours per week—1.0 FTE)
Salary: Per appropriate placement on the LSEA master agreement salary schedule
Bargaining Unit: LSEA

Qualifications Required: 

1. Bachelors’ Degree
2. Valid Michigan Teaching secondary certificate in Japanese (FL or YT endorsement)
3. Successful teaching experience
4. Excellent collaborative skills
5. Works as an interdisciplinary team across content areas to meet state and local curricular requirements
6. Work closely with administration and staff to collaboratively lead the school through shared decision making process
7. Ability to support and promote sound instruction
8. Willing to engage community and business partners as a resource in curriculum development and student products
