Executive Director – United States – Japan Bridging Foundation (Washington, DC, or remote)
Status: Full-time, exempt employee
Salary: $115k – $125k, commensurate with experience
Location: Headquartered in Washington, DC, but open to remote candidates

Position Summary
The Executive Director will lead USJBF’s efforts to significantly increase the number of Bridging Scholars awarded each year. They will set strategic direction, oversee administration, while also developing strong relationships with USBJF’s donors, partners, and Bridging Scholar alumni. A key priority will be to develop a robust revenue strategy to increase support for the Bridging Scholars program in close partnerships with the board.
The ideal candidate is an effective spokesperson for USJBF’s mission with a successful record of fundraising in domestic and global settings. They are a self-driven leader and comfortable communicating with a geographically-dispersed team and board. They are adept at building systems, processes, and protocols as the organization launches its next chapter. While USJBF has been historically headquartered in Washington, DC, the board of directors is conducting a national search and is open to a remote work situation for the right candidate.
