Position Summary
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree in International Education, Higher Education, or other related area.
Required Experience:
5+ years of increasingly responsible professional level experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in global program office administration including management of full time staff. Experience and skill in study abroad database management, marketing, recruitment, and advisement of program participants. Experience assessing programs through course evaluations, student focus groups, close partnership with faculty, and on-site observations. Budget management, analysis and forecasting.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of significant experience overseeing the development of a body of study abroad programs; experience working closely and independently with a variety of constituencies including faculty and university leadership; experience advising students in professional and liberal-arts programs. Expert knowledge of academic affairs and administration in educational environments. Experience living, working, or studying overseas. Proficiency in a foreign language. Demonstrated active engagement with international education professional organizations. Service on internal university committees.
