Adjunct Professor – Mt San Antonio College (Walnut, CA)
Mt San Antonio College (Walnut, CA) is currently seeking an adjunct professor who can teach the following class in Spring 2022.
*Mt SAC currently has a few open classes available on MW and T/Th. The
classes are JAPN1 (Elementary Japanese), JAPN2 (Continued Elementary
Japanese), and JAPN 53 (Conversational Japanese).* We also accept
applications for an instructor pool for future assignments. Please contact

Please see the qualification requirements below:
A. The minimum of one of the following awarded/conferred from a regionally
accredited institution: 1. Master’s Degree in the language being taught; OR
2. Bachelor’s Degree in the language being taught AND Master’s in another
language or linguistics; OR 3. California Community College credential,
“Valid for Life” (no longer issued), authorizing service as an instructor
in the appropriate discipline; refer to Ed Code § 87355 (If meeting
qualifications with this credential, a copy of the valid lifetime
credential must be submitted with the application.); OR 4. The equivalent
(please attach an Equivalency Determination Supplemental Form) AND B.
Commitment to the community college goals/objectives of providing quality
programs and services for students with diverse abilities and interests;
personal qualities to work effectively and sensitively in a multicultural
environment; awareness and commitment to the special needs of
non-traditional students.
If a candidate holds a BA & MA from a Japanese university, we can look at the equivalency option.
