Adjunct Professor in Japanese for Fall 2019 – Mt. San Antonio College, Walnut, CA
Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA (25 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles) is looking for an adjunct professor in Japanese for Fall 2019 (starting on 8/26). We currently have two Japanese 1 courses to fill on Monday/Wednesday evening.
Instructions to Applicant: Qualification: Master’s in language being taught; or bachelor’s in the language being taught and master’s in another language or linguistics.
Equivalency: Bachelor’s in Japanese or a related discipline (Asian or East Asian Studies, Comparative Literature with specialization in Japanese, Linguistics, Bilingual Education, or TESOL) and four years of documented full-time teaching or other occupational experience directly related to Japanese and native to near-native skill in reading, writing, speaking, and oral comprehension in Japanese or Master’s in any discipline and 30 graduate semester units in Japanese.
