JET35 Alumni Reunion

Nearly 160 alumni and friends joined the JET35 Alumni Reunion in Seattle, which featured 30+ prominent alumni and others as guest speakers and panelists, almost a dozen special activities and excursions, and a Japan Expo showcasing 20 universities, businesses, and Japan-related organizations. The meeting commemorated the 35th anniversary of the JET Program, and conference sessions highlighted the ways that JET alumni are contributing to US-Japan relations, how artists and entrepreneurs are utilizing their JET experience in innovative ways in their work, and the degree to which people-to-people connections animate sister city ties between Seattle and Kobe and other local relationships. We are particularly grateful to all the generous donors that made this possible, as well as to PNWJETAA and the other JET alumni and friends whose hard work made the event such a success.
