How to Watch and Participate

If you want to participate in YouTube Live chat, you’ll need to “create a channel” associated with your Google account. This doesn’t mean you have to post videos or otherwise use the channel. YouTube accounts only require an email address – you do not need to share any personal information. More information about YouTube privacy is available here.

In the chat box, click on the “Create a Channel to Join the Chat” button. Enter the First Name and Last Name of how you’d like to appear in the Live Chat. If you already have an account, but you’re not signed in, place your cursor in the chat box and follow the prompts. Then you will be redirected to watch and chat live on YouTube.

The chat on this video will appear publicly here and on YouTube during the livestream.
