Building community one JET at a time.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out our planning survey for an All-Alumni Reunion next year! We had 387 individual responses, which will help us tremendously as we move forward.

We were particularly happy to see that over 95% of respondents expressed an interest in such an event. Over 89% would like to connect and network with other alumni. 94% look forward to meeting up with JETs who were in the same Prefecture and/or Years on JET. A number of people would be interested in volunteering (82%) or being involved in the planning process (42%).

We are still evaluating dates, which will be based on both venue availability and the schedules of our guest speakers. We hope to have a “save-the-date” finalized by the beginning of the year, so keep your eyes out.

Also, thanks to all of you who took the extra effort to provide additional feedback and comments. We are taking everyone’s input into consideration. It should be a great event, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to DC!
