About the JET35 Logo
About the Mt. Rainier & Mt. Fuji Logo
Mount Rainier is an iconic Washington mountain and active stratovolcano in the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest and has a sister-mountain relationship with Mount Fuji. At one point, Mount Rainier was nicknamed “Tacoma-Fuji” by Japanese immigrants. In 1935, a National Park friendship started and on April 30, 1936 a sister-mountain relationship became official.
We thought a logo with these two sister mountains perfectly encapsulated the connections between Japan and the Pacific Northwest.
