Thanks to the over 80 donors to this year's "JETs Rally for Tohoku" Campaign for helping the JETAA community raise $8,990, along with $3,741 in matching funds from Global Giving, for a total of $12,731 to support the work of the Taylor Anderson Memorial Fund's work in the Tohoku region. This was the third year of the campaign, and the fifth anniversary of the triple disaster to affect the Tohoku region. While there has been significant success in recovery efforts over the past five years, there is still work to be done, and this campaign supports these efforts.
The JETAA community has raised a total of $83,543 (including matching funds) through the JETs Rally for Tohoku campaign since 2014. Although this year's matching campaign has ended, individuals can always support TAMF through Global Giving. Thank you again to the supporters of this year's campaign for their support of students in the Tohoku region!
