Leadership Development

USJETAA offers a hands-on leadership program to assist JETAA Chapters in their program management, governance, programming or other areas they feel additional support and feedback would be useful.

The program consists of a tailored workshop or facilitation of working on a specific issues, organizational processes, leadership training, or anything else the chapter wants support with. Usually this takes the format of a site-visit with the chapter leadership and members (if appropriate) and the USJETAA Executive Director or other professionals, to discuss and identify areas where the chapter would benefit from outside input and ideas. The workshop can also be conducted virtually and be with only the core officers or opened up to the whole regional JETAA community. This is an opportunity to focus on a strategic plan, come up with new program ideas for alumni, or reestablish connections with regional subchapters. The program is tailored to the needs of the specific chapter.

Funding for the Leadership Program is generously provided by The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership (CGP) and CLAIR.
